St Mary’s church is situated in the centre of the village and is home to two regular services each month plus a number of celebrations throughout the year. Our regular services take place on the second Sunday of the month “Sunday Together”, a lay led service, and the fourth Sunday of the month, a communion service taken by Reverend Andrea or Curate Kim.
In addition to our regular services we have others throughout the year to celebrate religious festivals. Our Live Nativity on Christmas Eve sees numbers of over 250 adults and children and 1 “donkey”!
Our village war memorial, erected March 1920, stands in the grounds of the parish Church. It records the names of 22 men from this Parish who died in WW1, and two men who died in WW2.
