St Mary's church is situated in the centre of the village and is normally home to three regular services each month plus a number of celebrations throughout the year. Due to current COVID restrictions our services are limited however services are offered over the phone and via Zoom every Sunday morning at 10am.
In addition to our regular services we have others throughout the year to celebrate religious festivals. Our Live Nativity on Christmas Eve sees numbers of over 250 adults and children and 1 "donkey", and we hope to be able to deliver something this year that will comply with regulations.
We were delighted to welcome Reverend Andrea Watkins to the Spencer Benefice (covering East Haddon, Great Brington, Church Brampton, Harlestone, Whilton and Norton) in June 2019, along with curate Reverend Kathryn Evans.
Our village war memorial, erected March 1920, stands in the grounds of the parish Church. It records the names of 22 men from this Parish who died in WW1, and two men who died in WW2. More details can be found on the East Haddon History Society website.
For further information on the church or specific services please do not hesitate to contact the churchwarden Gilly.
