New e-newsletter launched to inform residents
West Northamptonshire Council has launched a new e-newsletter with the aim of keeping residents informed of news and updates about our Council. People are urged to sign-up via our online subscription portal, so they can receive regular information straight to their inbox. WNC recognise that clear, transparent communication is vital to us achieving our ambitions as a council, and across-party Task and Finish group identified the need to create this newsletter. WNC want to tell people about what they are doing on their behalf, and of course how we’re spending their money – and that’s why they are constantly trying to improve the way they communicate. Issued fortnightly, the newsletter will sit alongside WNC other key communications channels to keep people informed about the services provided, from biocollections to highways, environmental health to housing, schools and education, to health and wellbeing. There will be regular updates on the support WNC are offering to help soften the ongoing impact of the current cost of living crisis, as well as on the grants that are available to support community and voluntary groups to deliver important services. It will keep people updated on the regeneration projects West Northamptonshire Council is leading on across West Northants, and promote opportunities for residents to have their say on the important issues that affect us all. The newsletter will also highlight some of the fantastic days out that West Northamptonshire offers, our many wonderful heritage and tourist attractions, as well as our parks and open spaces. Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the newsletter so WNC can reach as many people as possible.
