Public Spaces Protection Order

A new Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will come into force on the 1st December 2018. It requires all dog

owners to obey the following rules:

- Pick up after your dog.
- Carry the means to pick up after your dog.
- Prevent your dog from entering a fenced-off play area.
- Put your dog on a lead when requested by an authorised officer.
- The number of dogs walked by a single person is limited to six.... Read More »

Our first Church coffee morning with Village Produce Stall on Friday 9th November was a great success! We were busy all morning serving tea and coffee and delicious cakes that had been so kindly donated by villagers. Produce came from all round the village and everything was sold! We also sold Christmas cards and wrapping paper with plenty of people getting stocked up!

School Harvest Service

East Haddon School had their Harvest service in St Mary's Church. All the children (and teachers!) had clearly worked very hard to put on a fantastic service of thanksgiving for all that our farmers produce, they had also collected for the Hope Centre in Northampton. East Haddon Playing Fields Association - End of Summer Ball

The village enjoyed a fun and successful End of Summer Ball on Saturday 22nd September in aid of the East Haddon Playing Fields Association. The evening was well attended with guests arriving to a drinks and canape reception followed by a delicious meal provided by Hog & Hops from Little Brington. The dance floor was full all night with entertainment supplied by Northampton band Empire.

Holdenby Harvest Service

We enjoyed an Evensong in beautiful All Saints Church Holdenby, the church had been beautifully decorated and David led a well attended service. We hope that this will become a yearly service. Thank you to James, Karen and Jem Lowther and to all those who made sure the church was looking so wonderful. We look forward to seeing more people there next year.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Our first for very many years! Blessed with glorious weather, the event included a treasure hunt, trips up the tower to see the bells etc, and most enjoyably the spectacle of teddy bears risking all on the end of home made parachutes, having been launched from the top of the tower.
